Toddler Playgroup 't Arnoldus Parkje

Located in daycare center 't Arnoldusparkje in Hoofddorp, you will also find a playgroup. Children from the age of two are welcome here.

The group is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (excluding school holidays in the northern region).

Attention is given to the young child’s vocabulary development, as well as cognitive, sensory, social, and motor development. Of course, there is also plenty of room for free play. Our staff are trained in working with the VE method (Preschool Education) and in results-oriented work. This means they are skilled in stimulating development and in identifying and guiding (potential) developmental delays. Activities are offered in engaging themes based on the "Uk and Puk" method.

If your child has a VE indication, you are welcome with us. Your child will then also receive extra weekly guidance from a tutor. You can also come to us for a place if you are not entitled to childcare allowance. The municipality then subsidizes the vast majority of the costs (2 mornings per week), leaving only a small personal contribution for you (depending on income).

Working according to the VE method "Uk and Puk" and results-oriented work is very meaningful for every child! Development is closely monitored, looking at multiple areas of development. The toddler group also contributes to a smooth transition to school. Toddlers learn to deal with a daily routine, with cooperation, with being part of a group, with rules and customs, and they practice all kinds of skills they need for a good start in primary education.
